This house, which is situated at Njálsgata 33, is the headquarters of “Unnur’s China Club”, a travel agency specialising in tours to China. It also houses a museum dedicated to China.
I love the simplicity of how the owner, instead of heaping on the Chinese decorations, has just used these good luck knots to hint at what lies inside.
*To those not in the know/new to this site: Christmas in Iceland starts at 6 p.m. on December 24, and I don’t count the day the photo is posted.
I’m starting my annual Yule/Christmas countdown a day late, as I have been very busy lately and have only snapped a handful of shots of the holiday decorations. I will begin with a photo I took on Sunday while driving along Regent Street in London on the top of a sightseeing bus – really the best way of covering a lot of ground in the city in a short time. The rest of the holiday photos will be from Iceland.
