Autumn – Fall – Haust

As you know if you read my previous post, I am still without my pet camera, which is in the camera hospital at the moment. This just had to coincide with my favourite time of the year: the still, cool, sunny days of autumn, when all the trees and shrubs are blazing in shades of green, gold, red and brown, the air feels fresh and clean (when the wind is not carrying volcanic fumes over the city) and the thrushes and starlings are roaming around and eating rowan berries and getting so drunk on the fermented juices that you can walk almost up to them and they can’t be bothered to fly away. I may take my little Sony camera out after work today or maybe tomorrow – weather allowing – but until then, here are some autumn photos from a few years back:
