Stóra-Dímon

Stóra-Dímon is a small mountain (or a large hill, depending on what definition you follow) that rises up from the surrounding alluvial plain. At 178 metres high, it’s easy to climb and an attractive place for a picnic. You can drive right up to it.

It marks the spot where Austur-Landeyjar, Fljótshlíð and Vestur-Eyjafjöll meet and is visible from the popular tourist spots of Seljalandsfoss and Gljúfurárfoss.
